Biography
Dr. Raymond West received his BS in chemistry from the University of Mount Union in 2011 and his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Toledo in 2016. His expertise is in analytical techniques and in mass spectrometry-based research in the fields of proteomics, lipidomics, and small molecules. Dr. West is Coordinator of the Nolin Lab and Assistant Director of the University of Pittsburgh Small Molecule Biomarker Core (SMBC) facility, where he serves as liaison between the SMBC and collaborators, leads development of LC-MS/MS methods for the quantitation of small molecules, and data analysis.
