Biography
Being from just over the border in Ohio (still an avid supporter of all things relating to the Buckeye State) and attending college there, my first appointment was with an environmental remediation company where I traveled the country to various EPA sites to identify contaminants. My next stop allowed me more stability, working at the UPARC facility in pesticide fate and metabolism. The fifteen years I spent there prepared me to apply the analytical knowledge obtained to similar work with prospective drugs and drug products when I joined MWRI in 2005. Since then I've had the opportunity to experiment with many types of drugs and drug products, from small molecules to proteins and monoclonal antibodies in gels, thin films, and microparticles.
