Venkat’s research focuses on optimizing drug therapy in pregnancy “prevention of preterm labor by optimizing the use of 17-hydroxyprogesterone caproate during pregnancy and Optimizing buprenorphine treatment in pregnancy”; and “optimization of use of medications in organ transplant patients”. Consistently NIH funded for OBGYN pharmacology work for the past 20years.
